The Appeal-Democrat has an immediate need for a part-time production assistant in our Creative Services departments in the afternoons and evenings. We are looking for someone with a helpful attitude who has an eye for detail, excellent spelling/proofreading abilities, and works quickly and efficiently under daily deadline pressure.
You will help with data entry, ad tracking, page output, website updates and other prepress responsibilities. Prior experience in prepress helpful, including an understanding of 4-color printing and familiarity with applications such as Quark Xpress, InDesign and Photoshop.
The Appeal-Democrat is located in Northern California, 40 miles north of Sacramento.
